Fano Municipality allocates 91,500 euros for church restoration

The Municipality of Fano has allocated 91,500 euros to the Diocese to support the security, conservation, and improvement of local places of worship. The funds, sourced from urbanization fees, were distributed following guidance from Bishop Andrea Andreozzi.

The allocation includes:

• 30,000 euros for extraordinary maintenance at the Monte Giove Hermitage. • 26,500 euros for the Sant’Agostino church in the historic center to cover structural consolidation, conservative restoration, and technological system upgrades. • 25,000 euros for the San Paolo Apostolo church in Vallato to create new spaces for pastoral ministry. • 10,000 euros for structural consolidation at the San Biagio church in Cuccurano.

Deputy Mayor Loretta Manocchi stated that the administration aims to preserve these sites as historical landmarks and community reference points. Bishop Andreozzi expressed gratitude, noting that the collaboration helps maintain spaces for prayer and community encounter.
