Fano's Rocca Malatestiana hosts final summer book presentations

The summer season at the Rocca Malatestiana in Fano concludes on September 19 with two book presentations as part of the ‘Storie e Idee con gli Autori Fanesi’ series.

The first event features Alfredo Pacassoni presenting ‘Siamo tutti “conservatori”’, a work exploring the relationship between conservatives and progressives with a focus on childhood. The session includes a remote appearance by Moni Ovadia, who authored the book's preface.

The second presentation, ‘Le prigioni di Fano’ by Silvano Clappis, examines the history of the city's detention facilities from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. The volume utilizes maps, photographs, and unpublished documents to analyze the social significance of these structures. The event highlights the transformation of the Rocca from a place of detention into a contemporary cultural space.
