Fans Acquire Giant World Cup Soccer Ball and Paint Flag Rocks for 2026 Tournament

Kevin Cronin, known online as “Kickball Dad,” purchased a 31.5‑inch Adidas Trionda jumbo soccer ball that had been on display at a sports store. After repeatedly asking the store to sell it, he finally bought the ball for about $320 and managed to squeeze it into his family’s four‑door car, sharing his excitement on social media with remarks such as “We need one of those,” and “I’m like Atlas.”

In a separate family project in Colorado, a teenage son painted the flags of all 48 nations participating in the 2026 FIFA World Cup onto rocks he collected from his yard. The family arranged the painted rocks on their back deck to follow the tournament, with each member tackling different flags, from the simple French tricolor to the intricate Ecuadorian and Saudi Arabian designs. The activity exemplifies the grassroots enthusiasm surrounding the upcoming World Cup.
