Fantasy basketball draft strategies and undervalued veteran targets

Fantasy basketball managers are advised to avoid common pitfalls in points leagues, such as failing to adapt to specific league scoring settings or overvaluing aging superstars. Success in these formats requires a deep understanding of custom scoring rules, which can differ significantly between platforms.

In terms of player value, certain veterans are emerging as high-upside targets for upcoming drafts. Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets is noted as a high-value option following a career year, particularly as the Nuggets' roster undergoes changes. Additionally, CJ McCollum of the Atlanta Hawks is highlighted as an undervalued asset due to his performance and role within the Hawks' rotation.
