Fantasy festival in Montefiore Conca and games in Montecchio start in Italy

Montefiore Conca in Emilia‑Romagna opened its 33rd edition of the "Rocca di Luna" fantasy festival on 26 July 2026. The event transforms the historic town into an open‑air stage, featuring medieval streets, market stalls, musical performances, theatrical shows and dragon‑themed attractions, with activities such as guided tours, art panels, concerts and astronomical observations.

Meanwhile, the nearby town of Montecchio launched the 2026 edition of the "Giochi tra Quartieri" (Games Between Neighborhoods) from late July through early August. The week‑long programme offers sports contests, group games, theatrical and musical performances and community activities aimed at all ages, promoting social interaction, local identity and volunteer involvement.

Both events celebrate local heritage and encourage community participation through cultural and recreational activities.
