Fantasy literature festival reaches students in Dve Mogili and Borovo

The fantasy literature festival ‘River of Stories and Worlds’ and the ‘Sword, Magic and Heart’ competition recently held presentations for students and readers in the Bulgarian towns of Dve Mogili and Borovo.

During the events held on September 24, 2026, at local community centers, organizers presented a film about the festival and a literary collection featuring works from the national fantasy short story competition. The creative team, including editor Keti Ilieva, jury member Yavor Tsanev, and graphic designer Anna Pavlova, met with students from local schools.

Dr. Teodora Peycheva-Dyankova, head librarian, shared insights into the organization and behind-the-scenes efforts of the festival. To bridge traditional and modern reading, students used QR codes to access the digital version of the literary collection. These cultural initiatives were supported by the National Culture Fund.
