Fanuc showcases industrial AI and digital twin technology at AMB

At the AMB trade fair in Stuttgart, Fanuc is showcasing new innovations in robotics, CNC technology, and industrial artificial intelligence. A central focus of the presentation is the integration of Fanuc’s Roboguide simulation software with NVIDIA’s Isaac Sim open reference framework. This collaboration enables the creation of high-precision digital twins, allowing robot movements to be virtually simulated, programmed, and verified to prevent errors and accelerate production implementation.

Fanuc is also highlighting AI-driven solutions such as the Agentic Digital Twin, which supports CNC tasks by automating simulation workflows via an MCP server. To simplify machine programming on the shop floor, the company is promoting G-Code Guidance and Process Based Programming.

New hardware highlights include the Fanuc Serie 500i-A CNC control system, designed for high machining performance and seamless digital integration, and the Robodrill D28LiB5ADV PlusY-500 machining center. The Robodrill features an expanded tool capacity of 28 tools and a five-axis table to handle more complex workpieces.
