FAPASA President attends ADIRA annual assembly

Agustina Decarre, president of FAPASA and COPAPROSE, participated in the annual assembly of the Association of Insurers of the Interior of the Argentine Republic (ADIRA). During the event, which marked ADIRA’s 45th anniversary, the entity approved its 2025/2026 balance sheet and renewed its leadership, with Diego Guaita remaining at the helm for another year.

ADIRA’s recent activities have focused on institutional representation, addressing topics such as health insurance, tax issues, and digital innovation. The organization has also worked on multi-risk agricultural insurance and participated in the Argentine Insurer Committee. Additionally, Gustavo Idígoras of CIARA and CEC discussed opportunities for agricultural insurance arising from the Mercosur-European Union agreement.

In a separate discussion regarding the profession of insurance producers, Decarre highlighted FAPASA’s three main pillars: positioning, professionalization, and insurance awareness. Key industry challenges discussed include the impact of digitalization and artificial intelligence, the need for continuous training through the Argentine Insurance School, and the fight against illegal insurance sales and professional intrusion.
