Far Far West receives major Frostburn update

Evil Raptor and Fireshine Games have released ‘Frostburn,’ a major update for the co-op PvE shooter ‘Far Far West’ on PC via Steam. The update introduces the ‘Hellfire’ region, a lava and volcano-themed environment featuring periodic meteor strikes and volcanic eruptions.

New gameplay mechanics include an Ice element and a Shield system that allows players to absorb attacks or use magic for offensive and recovery purposes. Five new Ice spells have been added: ‘Cube,’ ‘Ice Lance,’ ‘Breeze,’ ‘Glaze,’ and ‘Blizzard.’ Additionally, players can utilize new melee weapons such as Knuckle Dusters, a Lasso, and a Banjo, the latter of which can restore health for allies.

The update also features a ‘Lighthouse’ system to assist with exploration and adds new quests, player skins, and Jokers to the existing Jungle region. Within the new Hellfire map, players can hunt for three specific Music Disc Fragments located at the western end of a broken bridge, a cave near a southern red gate, and a watchtower atop central cliffs.
