Faraday Future reports record robot shipments and secures $25 million financing

Faraday Future, the California‑based embodied AI (EAI) ecosystem company, said its robot sales and shipments reached 69 units in May, a new record that exceeds the combined totals for March and April. The company highlighted progress toward its target of 200 units in the first delivery season and 1,500 units for the full year.

In the same update the firm announced it has formally submitted a referral letter to the U.S. SEC concerning potentially illegal short selling and market manipulation. Separately, Faraday Future disclosed a Securities Purchase Agreement to issue convertible promissory notes worth $25 million, bringing the total financing raised in recent months to $70 million. The funding supports its “Three‑in‑One” strategy of devices, data, and an open‑source developer platform and aims to shift the EAI vehicle business toward a sustainable mix of operating cash flow, partnerships and long‑term capital.
