Faradays luxury department store opens in Auckland
Faradays, a new luxury department store, has officially opened at 131 Queen Street in Auckland, New Zealand. Spanning three levels and approximately 3,000 square metres, the development is considered one of the most significant retail projects in the country in recent years.
The store features more than 220 brands across various sectors, including fashion, beauty, wellness, technology, jewellery, and home lifestyle. Many flagship brands, such as Skims, La Mer, Loewe, and Jacquemis, are making their debut in the New Zealand market.
The project, which cost $30 million, occupies the historic former Milne & Choyce building. Co-founders Eddie von Dadelszen and Constance von Dadelszen stated that the goal was to respect the building's retail history while creating a social hub that offers a sophisticated experience comparable to major global cities.
While the retail space is now open, some components of the site are still being finalized, including the Emmett Group’s restaurant, Lottie’s, which is scheduled to open on October 2.
