Farasla, Greece Concert Attracts Large Crowd
The Saturday night concert “Στου Φεγγαριού τις Μουσικές” was held in the town square of Farasla as part of the municipality’s summer cultural program. Mayor Makis Eskioglu greeted the audience during the celebration of the town’s patron, St. Paraskevi. Local singer Katérina Tasiopoulou, accompanied by three experienced musicians from Larissa—Dimitris Psarras (guitar and vocals), Sakis Pnevmatikous (bouzouki) and Filippos Siaphas (keyboards)—performed a mix of art, folk and rebetiko music. A large crowd remained until the end of the program. The next event in the series is scheduled for 28 July at the Apidanou square, featuring the group Argon with a concert titled “Στην Αγκαλιά της Πανσελήνου”.
