Farhan Ali Wahid wins Fulham FC Academy Player of the Year

Farhan Ali Wahid, a 19-year-old forward of Bangladeshi descent, has been named Fulham FC’s Academy Player of the Year. He received the Johnny Haynes Trophy following a vote by the club’s players and coaching staff.

Wahid’s recognition follows a standout season with Fulham’s Under-21 side, where he contributed to 17 goals in 21 Premier League Two matches. He was also named the league’s player of the month in November 2025. To gain more regular playing time this season, he joined fifth-tier club Borham Wood on loan.

In addition to his club success, Wahid recently made his debut for the Bangladesh national team during the FIFA ASEAN Cup. He scored his first international goal against Indonesia in front of approximately 50,000 spectators, describing the experience of representing his country as a moment of great pride for himself and his family.
