Farhan Jadwet installed as President of Rotary NextGen Club

Farhan Jadwet has been installed as the President of the Rotary NextGen Club in Port Blair for the 2026–27 Rotary Year. The annual installation ceremony featured Vinayak Chamadia, IAS, Secretary of IP&T, as the chief guest.

Jadwet succeeds Mandeep Garewal. The new leadership team includes Shikha Agarwaal as General Secretary and Devang Goel as Treasurer. Under the Rotary International theme “Create Lasting Impact,” Jadwet intends to focus on sustainable initiatives in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, specifically targeting youth leadership, education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, and skill development.

A primary goal of his presidency is to establish at least one Interact Club in a school and one Rotaract Club in a college to foster leadership skills among young people. Jadwet noted that his family has a long history with Rotary, including his father, Mohammed Jadwet, who served as President in 1992.
