Farid Bouzid remains found under terrace in Belgium after eight years

Human remains discovered under a concrete terrace in Cheratte, near Visé, have been identified as Farid Bouzid, who disappeared in 2018. The discovery was made on July 3 following investigations by the Federal Judicial Police of Liège.

Bouzid’s partner, identified as Éloïse, has been arrested and placed in pre-trial detention. According to reports, she admitted to killing her partner but denied that the act was premeditated. Investigators noted that the concrete slab used as a foundation for the terrace appears to have been installed around the same time Bouzid went missing.

The exact circumstances of the homicide and the motive remain under investigation as authorities work to determine what occurred leading up to his death eight years ago.
