Farida footwear factory crisis ends without agreement in Tuscany

Crisis negotiations regarding the Farida footwear factory in Chiusi have ended without an agreement. During a meeting held at the Tuscany Region headquarters, the company failed to present any proposals for worker compensation or relief regarding the collective redundancy procedure.

The Filctem Cgil union expressed disappointment, stating that the lack of a proposal was anticipated. While the company did not offer support, the Tuscany Region, the Municipality of Chiusi, and trade unions have all allocated various resources to assist the affected workers with their economic difficulties. The Municipality of Chiusi specifically confirmed it will provide income support measures for employees facing the corporate crisis.
