Farm Market at Rantoy Draws Former 'Love Is in the Garden' Contestants

The weekend farm market at the Rantoy farm in Saint-Ost, France, was organized by Claire and Sébastien Lefèvre. The event featured about ten former participants from the television series "Love Is in the Garden," who promoted their regional products directly to consumers. Stalls offered a variety of items such as cheeses, Armagnac, wines, artisanal drinks, honey, meat preserves, cakes, and even wool‑based crafts. Claire’s own stand showcased award‑winning preserves and fresh veal, attracting both local shoppers and tourists, evidenced by numerous camper vans and cars from across France and abroad.

In addition to the food offerings, the market provided a farm‑yard atmosphere with hay seats, nearby animals, inflatable games for children, a beret‑throwing contest, and live music. Visitors enjoyed traditional Gascon dishes like magret and confit, making the market a popular showcase of regional gastronomy and television‑personality branding.
