The 2026 season of Australia’s reality dating series "Farmer Wants A Wife" introduced five intruder contestants chosen by the farmers’ relatives, sparking tension among the original participants. Farmers Dylan and Zac voiced frustration, saying the surprise addition forced them to reassess connections and “made it tricky.”

Several contestants have left the show amid the upheaval. Lily walked out during a dinner after a dispute with fellow contestant Ally, later describing the production as a “total joke” and saying she preferred returning to wildlife work. She also reportedly lost a job at a wildlife facility after her departure. Beth exited to return to her seven‑year‑old daughter in Western Australia and has since begun a new relationship. Miranda was sent home by farmer Zac after repeated confrontations, with Zac explaining she “was not the right woman” for him.
