Farmer Wants A Wife sees musical cameo and contestant controversy

Country singer Amy Sheppard appeared on the latest episode of the Australian reality series Farmer Wants A Wife, performing six songs at the Country Ball despite being about 20 weeks pregnant. She filmed the cameo after releasing her solo album Born To Be Country and noted the rehearsals and filming were enjoyable.

Contestant Miranda, a participant in the same season, addressed the “villain edit” label applied to her on the show. She said she stands by her remarks, including calling another contestant’s actions “desperate,” and argued that viewers only see short clips, leading to misjudgment. Miranda also highlighted her farm upbringing to counter claims she is too glamorous for the rural format.
