Beth, a 28‑year‑old veterinarian from Western Australia, walked away from the reality‑TV dating show "Farmer Wants A Wife" after forming a connection with farmer Jason. She said she returned to Queensland to care for her six‑year‑old daughter, and later told TV Week that she remains in touch with Jason while pursuing a new romance.

Farmer Jason later explained that another contestant, Jessie, left before reaching his farm because she could not handle the cameras, stating “She mentioned that the cameras weren’t for her; she had trouble dealing with the cameras.” He also described a later incident in which contestant Jessica walked off after he announced no eliminations for the week, expressing frustration with the twist.
