Farnham Town signs former Fulham youth player Harley Platel

Farnham Town has signed 18-year-old attacking midfielder Harley Platel on a one-year contract. Platel, an Aldershot native, joins the club following his departure from Fulham, where he had progressed through the academy from the under-nines level to the under-18s.

Following his permanent signing, Platel is set to join an Isthmian League South Central Division side on a three-month loan deal, pending league approval, to gain senior competitive experience. Farnham Town manager Paul Johnson described Platel as an "immense talent" with strong close control, noting the club aims to provide him with a platform for development.
