Farren Lamb recovers from tibia fracture sustained in grand final
Farren Lamb is recovering from a serious tibia fracture sustained during the Peter McDonald Premiership grand final on September 6. The injury occurred during a routine tackle with approximately five minutes remaining in the match at Spooner Oval.
The severity of the break required two ambulances and roughly 45 minutes of on-field treatment, leading to the final five minutes of the game being abandoned. Despite the injury, Lamb’s team, the Forbes Magpies, secured a 36-16 victory over the Macquarie Raiders.
Lamb expressed gratitude for the community and teammate support during his recovery, noting that the assistance from others has helped him maintain an optimistic attitude.
