Farsala to host 19th annual Halva Festival in September

The 19th Halva Festival is scheduled to take place in Farsala from September 11 to September 13, 2026. The event celebrates the city's long-standing gastronomic tradition of producing unique halva.

Hosted at the renovated Farsala City Hall Square, the three-day program includes the 24th Torchlight Procession of Blood Donor Associations and the 22nd Farsala Choral Festival. Musical highlights feature a reunion of members from the groups ‘Ta Paidia apo Patra’ and ‘Zig Zag’, concluding with a performance by Myronas Stratis on Sunday night.
