Farul Constanța signs French striker Yann Kitala
Farul Constanța has completed the signing of French striker Yann Kitala. The 28-year-old attacker, who has Congolese origins, signed a one-year contract with the club, which includes an option for extension.
Kitala joins the Romanian side following a stint with the Portuguese club Vizela. His professional background includes time at Olympique Lyon’s youth academy and playing for clubs such as Le Havre, Sochaux, Almere City in the Netherlands, and FC Lorient. Notably, Kitala was a former teammate of Kylian Mbappé during their time at the Clairefontaine training center.
Kitala is the 10th player recruited by Farul this summer as the club seeks to strengthen its offensive lineup. Meanwhile, head coach Ioan Ovidiu Sabău has expressed dissatisfaction with the tactical and physical contributions of certain current players, suggesting that those who do not meet expectations may be moved from the squad.
