FAS Angel founder shares vision for social enterprise model
Pham Quoc Viet, founder of the first aid support team FAS Angel, shared the organization's journey during a training program organized by the Human Act Prize. FAS Angel, which was honored as an inspiring project at the 2023 Human Act Prize, has provided free on-site first aid to 24,000 people and organized transport for accident victims in difficult circumstances to return to their families.
Viet emphasized the importance of transitioning the community project into a self-sustaining social enterprise to ensure long-term stability. The group is currently researching various products, including FAS first aid kits, skill-building stations for children and adults, and rescue or motorcycle repair stations. Additionally, the organization provides free community training in essential skills such as drowning prevention, fire safety, and emergency evacuation.
