Fasano Area Wraps Up Participatory Design for 2026‑2028 Social Zone Plan

The participatory design phase for the Social Zone Plan 2026‑2028 of the Fasano Territorial Social Area – which includes the municipalities of Cisternino, Fasano and Ostuni – concluded in Cisternino. Over the past week three meetings were held in Fasano, Ostuni and Cisternino, bringing together third‑sector organisations, local associations, citizens, professionals and other social actors.

The consultations produced proposals on socio‑assistential, socio‑educational and socio‑health priorities, emphasizing a welfare model closer to residents, health promotion, inclusion of people with disabilities, autonomy support and pathways to employment. CIISAF president Prof. Giovanni Cisternino said the territorial participation is a strategic choice to design more effective social policies, while CIISAF director Dr. Antonio Calabrese highlighted the significant involvement of third‑sector entities and the concrete project ideas that will be evaluated in the drafting stage.
