Fasano celebrates 10th annual Camminata tra gli Olivi

The municipality of Fasano will mark its tenth consecutive participation in the national “Camminata tra gli Olivi” on October 25, 2026. Promoted by the National Association of Cities of Oil, the event features a 6 km trekking route through Laureto, traversing Monte Rivolta, the east and west ravines, and areas characterized by dry-stone walls, trulli, and Mediterranean vegetation.

The route includes visits to monumental olive trees and focuses on the Mezzaria organic farm, which produces extra virgin olive oil from the Ogliarola cultivar, alongside almonds and vegetables. Giuseppe Galeota, the assessor for productive activities, stated that the initiative aims to promote local territory, organic agriculture, and quality oil tourism while protecting the landscape.
