Fasano hosts seventh edition of Tempeste festival

The seventh edition of the Tempeste festival, titled ‘Images, Sounds, Stories from the Mediterranean,’ is launching in Fasano, Italy. The event is promoted by the City of Fasano in collaboration with the National Coordination of Local Authorities for Peace and Human Rights and the Giro d’Italia for Peace.

The festival opens on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Cinema Kennedy with a free screening of the documentary ‘Naza,’ directed by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor. Filmed on the rooftops of Tel Aviv, the documentary explores the technological mechanisms, use of artificial intelligence, and operational logic behind bombings and conflict management in the Gaza Strip. It specifically examines the impact of automated targeting systems on civilian populations.

‘Naza’ arrives in Fasano following critical success at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, where it received the Special Jury Prize, the Special Prize for Best Under-35 Direction, and the Green Drop Award.
