Fasano launches free online cooking workshops under GUSTI heritage project

Nine free video workshops have been released online, showcasing plant‑based and traditional dishes from the Terre di Fasano region. The workshops feature local restaurants, farms and cafés such as Ristorante Raparossa, Masseria San Lorenzo Resort and Ugo la Caffetteria, demonstrating recipes that reflect the area's culinary identity.

The series is part of the Small‑scale pilot action “GUSTI Tales: Celebrating Sustainable Heritage through Art and Culture”, organized by Puglia Culture in collaboration with the Comune di Fasano and technical partner Tecnopolis PST. Funding comes from the Interreg Italy‑Croatia programme (2021‑2027). Registration is free via the terre di fasano and gustiworkshop websites.

The initiative aims to promote the region’s food heritage, support sustainable gastronomic tourism and strengthen local economies by making the cultural significance of each recipe accessible to a wider audience.
