Fasano to award honor scrolls to top-scoring students

The Municipality of Fasano will host an official ceremony on September 10 at 5:00 PM to present ‘Pergamene d’Onore’ (Scrolls of Honor) to local high school students. The initiative, organized by the Department of Public Education, recognizes students from the 2025/2026 school year who achieved a perfect score of 100/100 or 100/100 with honors on their state exams.

The event will take place at the ‘I Portici – Biblioteca di Comunità Ignazio Ciaia’. Mayor Francesco Zaccaria stated that the ceremony aims to value the community's best talents and celebrate the years of sacrifice and dedication behind such achievements. However, he also emphasized that a grade does not define a person's worth, encouraging students to focus on daily commitment and curiosity rather than an anxious pursuit of perfection.
