Fashion designers Malan Breton and Burberry debut Spring/Summer 2027 collections

Malan Breton concluded New York Fashion Week with the debut of his Spring/Summer 2027 collection, titled ‘Le Jardin des Mille Demains’ (Garden of a Thousand Tomorrows). Presented at Sony Hall, the collection serves as a reflection on Breton’s career and a farewell to New York as he prepares to relocate to Rome.

The presentation featured a fashion film directed by Breton and included performances by various artists, including Crystal Waters and members of The Pussycat Dolls. The collection draws on Breton’s background in British and European tailoring and couture craftsmanship.

In London, Burberry closed London Fashion Week with its Spring/Summer 2027 collection. Creative Director Daniel Lee presented a collection focused on instinct and authenticity, utilizing a set design at Chelsea College of Arts that featured signature checks on wooden benches.

The collection reimagines classic Burberry utility, such as trench coats, with ruffles and shorter hems. It also incorporates prints like stripes and gingham created in collaboration with textile designer Celia Birtwell, moving away from a heavy reliance on the brand’s traditional check pattern.
