Fashion graduate showcases in Italy highlight emerging designers

Recent fashion events in Italy are focusing on the creative voices of the next generation of designers. The Fashion Graduate Italia 2026 edition, held at Base Milano, featured students from 19 different fashion institutes and academies.

Under the theme ‘Speak Up!’, the event aimed to provide students with a platform to express their creative identities through garment design. The initiative was coordinated by the Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda and received patronage from the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Milan.

In Bari, the RS Moda e Talento school, directed by Rosa Sblano, announced the ‘A.I. – Intelligenza Artigianale’ fashion show scheduled for November 7 at the Fiera del Levante. The event focuses on the importance of artisanal intelligence, emphasizing that while artificial intelligence can support design, it cannot replace the manual skills, technical knowledge, and precision required for traditional tailoring, pattern making, and garment construction.
