Fashion highlights: Saint Laurent show and Lãnh Mỹ A cultural showcase

In the fashion world, Hailey Bieber and Serenay Sarıkaya drew significant attention at the Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2027 show. Both celebrities wore minimalist black suits featuring single-button blazers, sharp shoulders, deep V-necks, and wide-leg trousers. While both embraced a ‘girl boss’ aesthetic, Bieber opted for a more modern, effortless ‘clean girl’ look with a glowy makeup style, whereas Sarıkaya presented a feminine and glamorous interpretation of the tailoring.

In Vietnam, designer Võ Việt Chung launched the ‘Lãnh Mỹ A Show’ at the Văn Thánh Tourist Area in Ho Chi Minh City. The event aims to create a nighttime cultural and tourism product by combining traditional Lãnh Mỹ A silk and Ao Dai fashion with Southern Vietnamese cuisine and performing arts, such as Đờn ca tài tử and Hát bội. Through collections like ‘Cô ba xứ Việt’ and ‘Huê khôi xứ Nam Kỳ,’ the show seeks to narrate the history and cultural identity of old Saigon and the Mekong Delta.
