Fashion industry trends focus on manufacturing and inclusivity

The fashion industry is seeing significant developments in both Mexico and Russia, with a growing emphasis on manufacturing strength and inclusive design.

In Mexico, Comercializadora Arush in Tlalnepantla is strengthening the national textile sector. The company manages a complex production process from digital sketching to final garment assembly, producing up to 10,000 pieces weekly for the domestic market. The facility maintains a high logistical capacity, capable of storing up to 499,000 items. The company utilizes national textiles as raw materials and plans to continue investing in the branded clothing sector within Mexico.

Simultaneously, the Moscow Fashion Week, scheduled from September 26 to October 1, is highlighting a shift toward inclusive design. Russian independent brands are moving away from standard modeling parameters. For instance, the brand by /Das/ features models who are regular customers rather than professional models, while the brand Lesel is focusing on age diversity through its ‘Time Capsule’ collection. This trend mirrors movements in Mexico, where brands are increasingly adopting adaptive designs and inclusive representation.
