Fashion Institute of Technology appoints first Chief Marketing Officer
The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), a part of the State University of New York, has appointed Kimberly Fasting-Berg as its first Chief Marketing Officer. Reporting to President Jason Schupbach, Fasting-Berg will join the president’s cabinet to oversee enterprise-wide marketing, branding, and communications.
Fasting-Berg joins FIT from WME Fashion, where she served as executive vice president and CMO. Her previous experience includes serving as CMO of the home furnishings brand Kravet and holding senior leadership roles at Condé Nast, where she led marketing for titles such as Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair, Glamour, and Allure.
In her new role, she is tasked with strengthening the college’s global reputation, supporting student enrollment and success, and fostering new growth opportunities. This appointment is part of the ‘FIT Future/Forward’ strategic initiative aimed at establishing the institution as a leader in creative and creative business careers.
