Fashion Prime Fair showcases future trends and young designers in Izmir

The 9th Fashion Prime Textile, Ready-to-Wear Suppliers and Technologies Fair was held in Izmir from October 21 to 23. Hosted by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and organized by İZFAŞ, the event featured industry professionals and showcased upcoming trends for the 2027 season, particularly in bridal and evening wear.

As part of the fair, workshops were held in collaboration with the Üçel Fashion Academy, where students created collections based on a futurism theme. These projects focused on sustainability by utilizing leftover or unused fabrics from supporting companies. Additionally, a footwear design workshop led by Numan Kaygısız explored the creative use of textiles in shoe design.

Fashion shows held during the event highlighted trends such as French lace, embroidery, and large sequined or fringed models. The fair attracted participants from 13 countries and included 47 companies.
