H&M debuts AI-integrated A/W 2026 collection at London Fashion Week

H&M returned to London Fashion Week with its A/W 2026 collection, titled ‘H&M&YOU&I’. The presentation was a highly technological and immersive experience directed by British photographer Nick Knight and his platform SHOWstudio.

The show utilized artificial intelligence to bridge the gap between physical and digital realms. By integrating digital imagery with physical elements, the production generated fashion films in real time, allowing the movement of models and guests to influence the visual experience. The collection itself features a blend of romanticism, such as ruffles and corsets, alongside 90s-inspired tailoring, leather, and ‘indie sleaze’ aesthetics.

Key figures involved in the creative execution included model Alex Consani and actor Archie Renaux, with a soundtrack provided by Labrinth. The event aimed to explore human connection within a digital age, positioning AI as a tool to extend rather than replace human creativity.
