Reports regarding the eleventh installment of the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise, potentially titled ‘Fast Forever’, suggest significant production shifts. While star Vin Diesel previously indicated the script was emotionally impactful, new reports claim a finished script does not currently exist and a new director may be sought, potentially replacing Louis Leterrier.

There are rumors that the film may serve as a ‘passing the torch’ installment, where Diesel’s character, Dominic Toretto, hands leadership over to a younger cast. Actor Charles Melton has been mentioned as a possible addition to the ensemble. However, a spokesperson for Universal has issued a ‘blanket denial’ regarding these rumors.
