Fast & Furious franchise celebrates 25th anniversary with collectible popcorn buckets
The Fast & Furious franchise is marking its 25th anniversary with a theatrical rerelease of the original 2001 film on August 21, 2026. Alongside the screening, Cinemark and Regal will offer two specially designed popcorn buckets and a nitrous‑oxide‑shaped beverage sipper. The flagship bucket replicates Dom Toretto’s black 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, while a 130‑ounce tin features replica license plates “3NTQ305” (Brian O’Conner’s Supra) and “2JRI424” (Dom’s plate). The blue sipper mimics a nitrous cylinder and includes a playful caution label. The collectibles will be sold in select U.S. locations.
Separately, Vin Diesel posted an emotional update about the franchise’s forthcoming finale, “Fast Forever,” slated for release in 2028. He reflected on the series’ journey, thanked the crew behind the scenes, and promised the final film will “hit hard.” The actor’s remarks underline the franchise’s ongoing cultural impact as it moves toward its concluding chapter.
