Fast & Furious returns to Mexican cinemas for 25th anniversary

The original ‘Fast & Furious’ film is scheduled for a limited theatrical re-release in Mexico on September 3, 2026, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the franchise. The special screenings are planned for major cinema chains including Cinemex and Cinépolis.

This international celebration follows similar re-releases in other countries that began in August. The film, which originally debuted in 2001, follows undercover officer Brian O’Conner as he infiltrates a street racing community led by Dominic Toretto to investigate high-stakes truck hijackings.
