FastPrint accelerates production with Konica Minolta digital presses

FastPrint, a commercial printer based in Hastings, has accelerated its production capabilities and profitability through a digital print transformation. The company invested in Konica Minolta’s AccurioPress C4070 and AccurioPress C7090 digital presses, which were supplied and supported by Service Offset Supplies (SOS).

The upgrade has allowed the business to halve turnaround times and manage larger commercial volumes. The implementation of the AccurioPress C7090, featuring the IQ501 Intelligent Quality Optimiser, provides automated color and registration control. This technology enables long, uninterrupted print runs and reduces the need for manual checking or batching.

These operational improvements have enabled FastPrint to serve a wider range of sectors, including healthcare, local councils, political campaigns, and arts organizations. The modernization follows a period of rapid growth and addresses the limitations of the company’s previous equipment, which had reached the end of its service life.
