Fatah Central Committee meets to discuss security and elections

The Fatah Central Committee held a meeting chaired by Vice President Hussein al-Sheikh to discuss political and security developments. Key topics included the ongoing Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip and settler violence and displacement in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

The movement emphasized the need for national responsibility and internal unity to face political and field challenges. Fatah also stressed the importance of continued dialogue with other Palestinian national factions to strengthen national unity.

Regarding internal organization, the committee elected Central Committee member Tayseer al-Bardini as Deputy Secretary of the Central Committee. Additionally, the group discussed organizational preparations and mobilization efforts to ensure success in upcoming elections.
