Fatal accidents reported in Can Tho and Tuyen Quang

Two separate fatal accidents occurred in Vietnam on October 20 and 21.

In Can Tho, a traffic accident on Nam Song Hau National Highway resulted in the death of a motorcyclist, identified as Tran Thanh H. (born 1959). The incident occurred when the victim collided with a car while attempting to overtake, falling into the path of an oncoming worker transport vehicle. The impact caused the transport vehicle to overturn, injuring three people, though their injuries were not life-threatening.

In Tuyen Quang, a construction accident at the Rap Thang 8 project led to the death of a 27-year-old worker, Dang Van T. During the pouring of a fifth-floor concrete slab, the floor unexpectedly collapsed, burying the victim. While others at the site sustained minor injuries, authorities are currently investigating the cause of the structural failure at the 218 billion VND cultural project.
