A passenger bus collided with a sand-laden heavy truck on the road between Hurghada and Ras Gharib in Egypt’s Red Sea Governorate, resulting in three deaths and 25 injuries. The accident occurred near the Jabal al-Zeit area, with reports indicating the bus struck the truck from behind, though scene photographs showed significant damage to the front of the bus.
Among the injured are five foreign nationals, including citizens from France, Italy, and Russia. Victims were transported to hospitals in Ras Gharib and Hurghada with injuries ranging from moderate to critical.
