Fatal clashes over wedding dancing and family feud in Uttar Pradesh

A man was killed and two people injured after a dispute over dancing at a wedding reception in Barsanda village, Amethi district, Uttar Pradesh. Police said the argument between two families escalated into violence, with Om Prakash Chauhan (45) suffering a fatal head injury from a sharp‑edged weapon.

In a separate incident in Begawala village, Bijnor district, a 32‑year‑old man allegedly attacked his elder brother with an iron crowbar, causing fatal neck injuries. The younger brother is currently absconding, and police have registered a case and are seeking to arrest the suspect.
