A fatal multi-vehicle accident occurred on the Statale 106 near Pietragrande in the municipality of Stalettì. The collision involved a Fiat Panda, an Audi, and a motorcycle.

The driver of the Fiat Panda died at the scene. Three other individuals were injured and were stabilized by SUEM 118 emergency personnel before being transported to a nearby hospital. Firefighters from the Catanzaro command’s Soverato detachment assisted in securing the area and managing the aftermath.

Following the crash, the affected stretch of Statale 106 was temporarily closed to traffic in both directions to allow for emergency operations, debris removal, and investigations by the Carabinieri. The road was eventually reopened after technical checks were completed.
