Two separate fatal incidents involving falls from high-rise buildings were reported in Vietnam on September 1.
In Hai Phong, a middle-aged man died after falling from the rooftop of the Dong Quoc Binh apartment building on Lach Tray Street. Local residents reported hearing a scream around 9:00 PM before discovering the victim in the first-floor lobby. Gia Vien Ward police and interdisciplinary units have cordoned off the scene to conduct an autopsy and investigate the cause of the fall.
In Ho Chi Minh City, a 26-year-old woman died after falling from the sixth floor of a social housing complex in the Viet Sing Residential Area.
