Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves datamine suggests new DLC characters

Datamining efforts regarding Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves suggest the potential addition of new DLC characters, possibly arriving in a fourth season. Evidence found in game files includes new win dialogue from the character Rick Strowd that references several individuals.

Specifically, dialogue points toward the return of Li Xiangfei, a character originally from Real Bout Fatal Fury 2. Other speculative additions based on character descriptions include Panni, a character associated with water, and Alfred, who is linked to wind-based abilities. Other mentions include Draken and a character referred to as White.

Additionally, information indicates that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game is slated for release on October 22, 2026. For this version, the Mai Shiranui Classic Costume will be provided as a free extra for players who pre-order the title.
