Fatal incidents reported in Tegucigalpa and Valledupar

In Tegucigalpa, Honduras, 22-year-old VIP taxi driver Josué Alejandro Meza Bejarano was found dead on Sunday, September 20. His body was discovered inside a blue vehicle parked at a gas station in the El Sauce sector. Preliminary reports indicate the victim had been bound at the hands and feet and was likely abducted from the La Travesía neighborhood before being moved to the location where he was found. Meza Bejarano was an active member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses congregation, where he served as an elder and full-time regular pioneer. Authorities have not yet established a motive or made any arrests.

In Valledupar, Colombia, 22-year-old Zahid Alberto Prado Mueguez died following a motorcycle collision on the morning of Sunday, September 20. According to traffic authorities, Prado Mueguez was riding a motorcycle when he collided with another motorcycle, causing him to strike a fixed object. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Two other individuals, Juan Carlos Contreras Jiménez, 50, and Dalia Esther Pérez Gutiérrez, 61, were injured in the second motorcycle involved and were transported to a medical center for treatment.
