Fatal minibus collision on Terpeka Toll Road kills six in Lampung

A fatal traffic accident involving a minibus and a Fuso truck occurred on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at KM 198 of the Terbanggi Besar–Pematang Panggang–Kayu Agung (Terpeka) Toll Road in Tulang Bawang Barat, Lampung.

The collision resulted in six deaths and left four others seriously injured. One of the deceased was identified as Aipda Agung Eko Prasetyo, a police officer from the Tulang Bawang Police who was driving the minibus. Preliminary investigations by the Lampung Regional Police suggest the accident was caused by microsleep, leading the driver to lose control, graze the road barrier, and strike the rear of a stationary Fuso truck.

Jasa Raharja has confirmed that legal heirs of the deceased are entitled to compensation of Rp50 million, while injured victims are eligible for medical expense coverage of up to Rp20 million. Authorities are coordinating with local hospitals to ensure all victims receive necessary medical attention and benefits.
